What areas does Prospect Refrigerated Transport service?+
We deliver temperature-controlled freight across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. This includes Greater Sydney, Newcastle, the Central Coast, Wollongong and the Illawarra, the Southern Highlands, the Blue Mountains, the Central West and Canberra, with more than 50 serviced locations in total.
What temperatures can you carry?+
We carry both chilled and frozen freight. Every trailer runs modern refrigeration equipment, and set points are agreed with you before dispatch so your product is carried at the temperature your cold chain requires.
What size is your fleet?+
Our fleet is 20 trailers, 10 prime movers and 4 rigids carrying up to 12 pallets each. That mix lets us handle single-pallet metropolitan drops and full-trailer regional line haul with the same operation.
Do you carry single pallets or only full loads?+
Both. We move anything from a single pallet to a full trailer load, and we regularly consolidate part loads across our scheduled NSW and ACT runs to keep costs down.

What are your operating hours?+
Our office operates Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. Deliveries outside these hours can be arranged by prior agreement.
Where are you located?+
Our depot is at 568 Reservoir Road, Prospect NSW 2148, in Western Sydney, which puts us close to the M4, M7 and the major food manufacturing and distribution corridors.
How long has the company been operating?+
Prospect Refrigerated Transport is an Australian, privately owned business with more than 25 years of operation. We began with a single truck and now run a full refrigerated fleet for some of Australia's best known food brands.
Do you handle pallet exchange for CHEP and Loscam?+
Yes. Pallet and hire equipment movements are handled under our hire equipment trading terms, which set out how CHEP and Loscam equipment is transferred and accounted for.
What kinds of goods do you carry?+
We specialise in food product distribution, including chilled and frozen goods for manufacturers, processors and distributors. Temperature-controlled food freight is our entire focus.
